Creating a Safer, Cleaner, More Educated Tomorrow

The Radon Man of WI, LLC was founded by Thomas DeSautel who had a long history with his company, Executive Designs, which built homes throughout the area. The first mitigation system that Tom installed was in 1999.  After learning about the lack of mitigation services, Tom focused his energies on the radon mitigation side of the business.  As business expanded, Scot Wickersheim joined Tom’s team and has assumed ownership.

Scot is certified through the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) as a Radon Mitigation Specialist (ID#112866-RMS).  NRPP credentials demonstrate mastery of the specific skills, expertise, performance, compliance and quality control measures required to complete radon testing and remedial projects.  Scot has an extensive background installing radon mitigation systems in existing homes, daycare centers, and new construction.  In addition, he has knowledge and experience in construction and insulating residential and commercial businesses.

The Radon Man of Wisconsin's focus is on educating customers on the health dangers of radon and the importance of working together to bring dangerous levels down to under the Environmental Protection Agency’s “safe” threshold of 4.0 pCi/L.

The Radon Man of Wisconsin approaches every installation in a customer’s home as if it were their own, and perform custom work as needed to clients in Central and Northern Wisconsin.  However, services in Wisconsin are available no matter the distance, and we will work with customers’ needs.  We provide FREE in-home test kit installations immediately upon request and will work around the customer’s schedule to ensure a safer living environment as promptly as possible.

The Radon Man of WI, LLC is a family-owned business that strives to protect families of all ages, especially those with children whose exposure to radon may be almost twice as high as the risk to adults exposed to the same amount.  Seniors who are aging in place in a home they have owned for decades are also at a higher risk so it is important for families to take action to protect their aging parents and grandparents.
